Do you have any ginger?
Ah HA.
Seska and smonster, I'm going to combine your suggestions with some boiled fresh ginger. This should settle the tum and I'm going to suck down as much water as possible.
I did just have a few bites of protein that I hope will cut the sugar.
Sigh.
Quite good lesson learned.
Again.
It's all or nothing with my system and I'm going to stay on the side of nothing (that triggers me).
Oh. Adding an Alleve will be required as well. I'm pretty sure this is a migraine coming on.
Seska, that sounds like a lovely surprise vacation.
Bonny, feel better.
Yum. Dinner is a salad of spinach, couscous (a new box, since the mice ate the old one), pears, and almonds, with a dressing made with more almonds, roasted red peppers, shallots, and red wine vinegar. (Also some mustard and agave and a few other things, but just a little of those.)
Ate and read a magazine. Will feed animals and then soak feets. Maybe. Am running out of time, since I'm going out tonight, and I"m in desperate need of a pedicure.
Patron Saint of Hookers and Blow!
I think Charlie's got that job covered.
edit: There's a patron saint of mad dogs! I can't remember his name, but God told him He wanted him to be the patron of young women, and the saint-elect begged the Lord for anything else rather than have him be the focus of all those girls praying for husbands. "Mad dogs, even! Anything other than the girls!" The Lord took him at his word.
I am back where there are fireflies, rather than fires. It's nice to be on a real-speed internet again.
Fireflies are on thing I miss, in the PNW.
Patron Saint of Hookers and Blow!
I think that's perfect for St. Woot! Not, however, for smonsters initial-person.
There's a St Charlie??? Who knew??
I am 1)So out of practice in writing papers 2)booooooored with this paper already, and I'm only 1/4 done with my page count. Yes, even though I got to choose the topic. I am doing my reference page as I go, though, so I don't have to weave in ends when I'm done.
ION, apparently, I am in the mood for the popular music of 5-10 years ago. Which, I suppose, makes sense, as that was when I was last in school in a serious way.
IOON, I can haz commas! I am trying to keep them to a minimum, though. Replacing them with parentheses or dashes does not count (usually).
(I have to have this written in 22 hours. I can do this. I just really don't want to.)
Were I of a more visually artistic bent, I would totally be creating a St. Woot icon right now.
Good luck with your paper writing, Debet! Good to see your pixels.
I continue to be rather delighted with my St. Woot. So far he is funny, respectful, adorable, and took care of my drunk friends with alacrity and without annoyance (we, uh, had to drive the boys and their bikes home in the back of his truck). It was a good show. He says he'll call me. He damn well better.
