Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

In this case, it was an undifferentiated Dom burning his pliant, unnamed, but still wicked orgasmic sub with scented candles and shit(standing in for et cetera, not like, actual...well, it is the internet. I feel that I must specify) ETA: Thanks, Raq. I thought so, too. I really wish I hadn't started teasing this guy, ever. Really not. Then I showed him my crime fiction and he thinks I am Lara Croft Has A Terrible Accident. Which is better than what most people think I am, but still fake. They didn't cover this shit at Sbarro's.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Spidra, we are opposites when it come to diet . If my food is too limited , all I think about is food. I love to eat and I am not picky. I gained 50 lbs in college -- because I kept looking for food that had flavor. I find if I go for high quality, with a variety of tastes and textures I have more control.

This week is a little more planned for me meal wise. I have meatloaf with mushrooms tucked in it for dinner tonight and Wednesday with be chicken fajitas. I also bought some sort of a squash soup. I have some fennel and asparagus and a few frozen veggies. and I can make a number of different sandwiches. I think I have enough food and variety to keep us home all week .

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'm not always that way, beth. But if my discipline is good enough that I'm not going to cheat, then eventually I get bored with the limited palette. At the time I did that diet regimen I was living by myself so it was much easier to control how much temptation I was around.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

If I have money I cook healthy often but when I'm poor I eat a lot of ramen and micro burritos. I know you can eat healthy on the cheap but it's haaaard.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I think it is always easier to eat less healthy . Easy fast prepared foods are easier to grab when you are in a hurry or just don't want to cook.

ION, still in the food area , I realized my grocery shopping for a week was about the same amount of money as going out twice last week . I like eating out, but I'd like it to be a bit less often

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am going to be switching to this [link] when we get home. Calorie-watching by iPhone definitely satisfies the techy in me.

brillig

I joined a jewelry making community on LJ, and they've mentioned selling things on Etsy. I keep buying beads and things to make necklaces with, and while the dragon-horde-builder in me screams "All the pretties for me!" there's also the thought that I can't wear everything and it might be fun to try and sell one or two things. Is there any kind of volume expectation on Etsy? If you've got one or two things, is it reasonable to put them on there? Getting over the desire to horde everything to myself is my own psychological issue that I won't trouble anyone with.
