Catholic Throwdown There is some seriously grownup language in there too. Some of it as funny as the Catholic-off. The video is flipped so the intro looks weird.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Barb, I hope the travels go OK.
Eye~ma, Andi!
HALLO KITTEHS!!! ::smish::
Heh. They are so adorable. Milo has spent all morning trying to climb on the hamster cage (and occasionally succeeding). When we chastise him, he immediately rolls onto his back in a "PLAY WITH ME!" way. Evil kitteh!
Feel free to drop me a line, if I can answer any questions.
Thank you, bonny! I think I'm doing OK with information, so far. It's just the whole "I am alooooone" thing that's tricky. Might e-mail just to chat. Thanks again!
Same to you, Beverly :)
I identify Pagan as well, though I tend to the more esoteric Discordian end of the spectrum. I've done lots of reading in the various traditions and have a fairly good base in the Celtic/standard neo-Pagan stuff. Feel free to throw any questions my way.
Oh fab, thank you.
I'm following a fairly Neo Platonic path, flavored more with Hellenism than Celtic influences, because that happens to speak to me more. I got to pour out a glass of wine to Gaia while on Crete a couple of years ago--very satisfying.
Oh, so lovely! I'm really looking forward to my biannual trip home to Ireland next year. The Irish land has always had me fall in love with it. Now I can connect it much more directly with my spirituality, rather than just vaguely.
Isn't it lovely to find a path that "clicks"?
YES!
I've been listening to Terry Pratchett's novels in order. The phrase "and no mistake" pops up often. Love it!
Sausage inna bun? At that price, I'm cutting me own throat.
Remember the Rule of 5 -- pack 5 things, or work on a task for five minutes. Set a timer!
That is BRILLIANT. Packing is one of the things that sends me into complete meltdown. The Girl is even thinking of making me a symbols-based general packing list, as I am at my most autistic when trying to put clothes in a bag. I shall try the five-minute-timer trick.
I'm too new on b.org to be able to say that Buffistas have changed my life (although many of you have improved it a lot!) - but another Buffy-board-that-shall-not-be-named definitely did. About twenty of my best friends who came to my wedding I met there, and one of them was my best woman (with whom I shared a flat for two years). Oh, and they taught me how to swear - that's a great thing to learn (fuck piss shit). The phrase "Everything I know, I learnt as an indirect result of Buffy" gets uttered a lot round these parts.
Look, Nora's on the TV [link]
Way to go, Nora! It looks like quite a big do.
Great job, Nora! That looks like it was a heck of a blowout. All that beer. ::drool::
Trudy's a cleavagey slut-bomb, pass it on!
The fundraiser was lots of fun, for sure. I made it an early night b/c flea had an early morning, and my feets was hurting. But flea experienced a number of NOLA traditions, just a couple of hours after arrival! Crawfish, jumbalaya, music, a wee second line, local beer, and people partying for a good cause. A woman tried to interview me on camera, too, but I wasn't in the mood.
Good interview, Nora! And really, it was a fabulous event. I don't even like beer and I had a good time (thank god for the New Orleans rum people and their rum tea).
Also, I reactivated my OKC account (it's all meara's fault), and now I might have a date sometime soon. With a guy who says this on his profile:
I think Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel is, as a single piece, perhaps the greatest artwork of the century and will probably be the defining work of late-capitalist, post-industrial America. Also, I am usually totally annoyed by the kind of people who agree with me.
So I sent him a message asking if he wanted to get a non-alcoholic beverage (he doesn't drink, but doesn't care if others do) and find out what we disagree on. Also, he's a math geek.
::shrugs:: We'll see.
Thanks guys! It was a good time, everything went according to plan (more or less) and I think we'll get close to $13,000 at the end of it all.
So tired.
HFS, $13K? That is AWESOME. I bow down to you.
Turns out "sometime" may mean "the next hour." We're talking about a picnic in Audobon Park. Fingers crossed he's not an axe murderer!
If he is, you might wanna turn around and ask how your hair looks before you go.(/obscure Wirefiend reference) I'm sure it looks good.
obscure Wirefiend reference)
I don't know if it's that obscure if they're riffing on it in iCarly.
