Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Good grief. I take it due to the "cemetery" part of it you couldn't do the "I've been waiting 15 minutes for you now I'm leaving" thing?

Yes, and it was all the way in hell Maryland, so it was kind of a commitment. And their arrival time kept moving. First it was 10:20, then 10:40, then 11:10, etc. Luckily, there was a Borders, so I could have some coffee and read the paper.

I say tell her she can come over and have dinner at your house and bring your present. That way you can just sit around watching TV or whatever until she shows up. And then tell her you're ordering a pizza. :)

No go for two reasons - 1. I'd have to "mother clean" and B) I'd have to get her to leave .

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Also, I have a moon.

Yes. Yes, you do. Which never fails to make me smile. Your migration is another smile-inducing thing. I remember your postings from the road, and the pictures, Precious Moments Museum among them.

Can you switch it to lunch, Vortex? That would sort of put a mandatory time limit on it, at least.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Also, I have a moon.

ita wins.

I was going to say unVortex jewelry too.

The Choffy sounds interesting, but apparently they don't sell it anywhere but their website? Though I looked on their facebook and someone asked about getting a sample and they said to email them and they'd hook her up with a distributor.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I totally though jewelry, too!

Vortex's mom -- people on the Internet can PREDICT YOUR GIFTS. Be afraid.

ita, a moon is pretty damned impressive. But Matilda says cuter things; your moon just looms, being all...moony! (I'm just jealous cause I don't have a moon!)

Dur, Nora and Tom! Expatriate love, no less.

Erin? Did I miss something? Or can I blame blood sugar again?

(I'm trying to figure out who gets the toaste...Nah, I'm not. I'm just nosy.)

I was going to say unVortex jewelry too.

I was thinking maybe the lunch could be somewhere "nice" that you really don't care for. So then you could be accused of being ungrateful for this expensive meal she went to all the trouble to buy, too.

I am finally home from errands. Tomorrow is Friday and I am NOT babysitting; I have no idea what to do with myself.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Vortex, I ordered some Choffy because I am that intrigued. I'll report back after it arrives and I actually taste it.

I started trying to think about my life without buffistas but quickly decided that that is not to be contemplated.

Many happy returns, Tep! I hope your vacation is wonderful, despite the fires.
