Hope the interview goes well and they snag you, Aims! Congrats on the reference. I'm sure it's deserved and it's great to have friends and co-workers who realize it.

I've taken the Gold Line once so far. I look forward to doing more of that. I just don't feel as free to gallivant until I get my shit together here. Today I blew my wrists out just cleaning the bathroom and didn't have a lot of physical energy left for stuff like unpacking. Actually, it'd be easy if all it was was unpacking but it's moving existing clutter in this household to make room for my clutter.

Anyone wanna help me write a response to a personal ad? I'm bored and lonesome. This is what I'm responding to (I figure she sounds cool enough, but who knows--is probably fugly and craycray):

Perfectly imperfect, somewhat nerdy, clearly awesome butchy girl seeks similar likeness in a more femme package. I enjoy the usual...tv, books, movies, bike riding, NPR, stimulating conversations and quietly appreciating the world as it goes by. I am stable, smart, funny, kind and expect that you would be the same. I am open to all types of women--it all comes down to how you work with what you've got--but prefer a woman with curves as I am not a petite flower myself. Interested in knowing more? So I need 7 words "that best describe you" to reply to a potential employer.

So far I have: intelligent, curious, clever, assertive and funny.

How would you describe me, and what do you think of the words I picked (employer-wise)?

I think I want to include a mix of personality and "good employee" attributes.

Detail-oriented, proactive, organized all seem boring and ass-kissy.

I still might chose some related to organized

maybe some thing more with idea of 'planner" -- it encompasses a lot of those other words -- and it seems to be what you do - see a problem , make a plan , do it

Something like..."Well, I asked my friends, just to make sure, and they say I am clearly awesome too! But they may be unfairly biased. What is your flavor of nerdery? I am a book-geek, and have been known to become a touch obsessed with certain TV shows. I like dancing, pretty dresses with prett girls inside (including myself!) and occasional drag-kinging it at shows. Not as much as I used to, but who does everything they want to as much as they want?

I am pretty stable, but I do have to travel some for work. That's mostly ok, because I have quite a few friends in quite a few places, and I like to see them if I can. Why don't you tell me some of the movies and books you like and we can see if we can have a stimulating conversation?!"

Erin should write meara's response, and meara should give Erin some words. I'm putting these burdens on others' shoulders because I cannot carry them myself.
