I've never house-sat at a time when I was sexually involved with someone. So it didn't come up. While I might have sex in the guest bed (or whatever) if I was house sitting for a while, I'd probably wash the sheets before leaving.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I always offer to wash the sheets whether there was sex or not.
I always wash the sheets and the towels. Doesn't everyone?
In previous house-sittings the owners asked me to put the sheets and towels in the hamper.
I was about to say I hadn't ever been a guest with a partner, and then remember I did once. Only once. And yes, we had sex (...pretty darn good, memorable sex!). But in my friend's long condo, the guest room was right at the front door, and her room was all the way on the other end of the house.
I would suggest this rather than plastic wrap to protect your mattress. They're water proof and can't be felt under a mattress pad.
I never house sat.
I'm with ita, I'd have sex on the couch, but not in the bed.
See, it's almost better to have sex on the bed, because the linens can be laundered, whereas on the couch if there's any unexpected...extraneous fluid, it would need spot cleaning!
I used to never have houseguest sex, but we're on the road so much it's almost inevitable at this point. For a while I refused to when we were staying with my folks, because I think with our lack of children, they are still in denial that we ever have sex, but I'm over it at this point.

This! I would much rather houseguests/sitters had sex on my bed and laundered the sheets than had sex on my couch!
No sex on the couch has actually been a roommate rule, when I've had roommates.

Yep! That just makes good sense.
