I went out for brunch and I had tiramisu pancakes. I'm in pancake heaven now.
'Shindig'
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
However it is my considered opinion that, climatologically speaking, San Francisco represents the least unpleasantness on either end of both our respective temperature tolerances combined with the largest concentration of resident Buffistae - although I could be persuaded that the Pacific NW might give us the most bang for the buck, should we undertake such a venture.
No, you want to move to LA. Really. Trust me on this.
tiramisu pancakes
I can't get my mind around this. Were they soaked in liquer and layered with sweet cheese?

The pancakes themselves were flavored with coffee and marsala wine, and then there was frosting piped on top, and the whole thing dusted with cocoa.
NOLA's going to suffer the most from sea level rise, but SF and LA will as well.
Clearly, Buffista Island is the only answer.
Vortex, wow, but well played.
Ooh OK yeah. Those pancakes sound good.
Scrubbed 2nd br floor for 15 minutes. Went back to hands and knees for more detailed scrubbing, but the landlord got paint splatters all. over. the floor and there's not much I can do about that right now. Have added knee pads to hardware list. Ow. But in good news, nothing in the box was broken! Woot!
And now we pause for something I'm sure I didn't invent, but which is DAMN tasty - the grilled boudin sandwich.
I'm trying to wrap my mind around eating "brunch" on a Wednesday. It just seems wrong to me. Brunch is a weekend luxury! :)
Smonster, pics please????!!! It doesn't matter if it's a mess. WANT TO SEE!

It's summer! Also, not sure what else to call pancakes eaten at 10. (I'm visiting my parents now, and my mother wanted eggs but didn't feel like cooking them, so going out seemed like the best bet.)
