Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

why would you call a doctor if it's an emergency? or am I being too logical?

Because you really don't want to be a fuss?

I'd totally do that.

Punishingly Intricate

It can hard to be sure something's an emergency so you'd call your doctor first to check.

move out and draw fire

It can hard to be sure something's an emergency so you'd call your doctor first to check.

But then the voicemail intro isn't going to help much, as you'll stay on the line to talk to your doctor.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

um ... this isn't a place where you actually get to speak to a doctor - if you want to speak to a nurse, you have to either (1) hold interminably or (2) leave a message and they'll call you back ... eventually. It's the internal medicine department at Georgetown Hospital - I started using them as my PCP because at the time no one was accepting the insurance I had.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

But then the voicemail intro isn't going to help much, as you'll stay on the line to talk to your doctor.

Not necessarily. I can see calling the doctor as a first instinct and then going "right, maybe I need to really do something about this."

Ann, that's a ferret.

Best wishes for Pix's back. Another hint that may help -- prop up your feet/put a pillow under your knees.

Health~ma to Quester's sister.

The status is NOT quo.

Fred, thanks. Believe me, I've been propped up with pillows all night.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger
