Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good, cause mine happens at night, so "Put your head up on more pillows" probably wouldn't help. I eat yogurt a lot and it helps, but I don't think that is a vegan solution.

Similar to the glass of milk that helps with mine - no idea if soy or almond milk would have the same effect.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Even before I was vegan, a glass of milk wouldn't have helped, since I'm lactose intolerant, so milk would just lead to more stomach troubles.

Always Anti-fascist!

That wouldn't work.

So BIG no there, then.

For most digestion related problems I find soy yogurt works for everything milk yogurt does, but don't know if this is an exception or not.

I've always assumed it was something to do with the alkalinity of milk (or milk-products) counteracting stomach acid - do soy products have that acid neutralize-y effect?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Question for the hivemind: When do I make a follow-up call to someone who hasn't returned my call, in a time-sensitive matter?

On Monday, our chiropractor told us about a friend of his, T, who needed to find a home for her cat quickly. T is moving next week, had found a home, but the plan fell through. Chiro gave us T's cell phone number.

In great news, a fellow volunteer, J, was already looking for a companion cat for her cat. (Cat's previous companion cat died recently.) Last night I called T and left a message with my home and work numbers. My main concern is making sure T is okay with me giving her phone number to J.

As of right now, T has not called back at either number. Is tonight too soon to call back, since T is moving next week? Do I assume she's busy packing and will call when she gets a chance? Or do I just give the phone number to J?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

If you get ginger ale, get the kind with real ginger in it.

amyth, C can keep it as long as she wants and mail it when she's done.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think it's totally reasonable to call back today, Fred Pete.
