Question for the hivemind: When do I make a follow-up call to someone who hasn't returned my call, in a time-sensitive matter?
On Monday, our chiropractor told us about a friend of his, T, who needed to find a home for her cat quickly. T is moving next week, had found a home, but the plan fell through. Chiro gave us T's cell phone number.
In great news, a fellow volunteer, J, was already looking for a companion cat for her cat. (Cat's previous companion cat died recently.) Last night I called T and left a message with my home and work numbers. My main concern is making sure T is okay with me giving her phone number to J.
As of right now, T has not called back at either number. Is tonight too soon to call back, since T is moving next week? Do I assume she's busy packing and will call when she gets a chance? Or do I just give the phone number to J?
If you get ginger ale, get the kind with real ginger in it.
amyth, C can keep it as long as she wants and mail it when she's done.
I think it's totally reasonable to call back today, Fred Pete.
Most soy yogurts do have a lot of calcium added. Incidentally with both soy and milk yogurt they can provoke more acid creation to digest them. So in some cases you get initial relief followed by more problems. Just something to watch out for.
the internet says bananas are good acid neutralizers.

Eeeenteresting. Definitely will keep in mind.
When I had really bad heartburn/acid reflux problems, if I didn't have medicine and couldn't get to something I'd make myself throw up and that would help. But that was a last resort.
I was talking to a friend today and mentioned the search for Sass, and my friend remembered reading in the paper today, so it's out there. She has a dog, and is really feeling for you guys. She sends love and support.
bonny, that was wonderful to read w/r/t Sassafras. Many thanks.
