My COBRA FIASCO IS DONE!
I got a call at 8:30 this morning from the supervisor I spoke to yesterday letting me know I was enrolled, retroactively to BC/BS of Florida and she gave me an Id number and a phone number.
So I called and verified and she was RIGHT! I'm in. She walked me through the form to get reimbursed for my prescription and answered lots of helpful questions.
The deductible is really small, esp compared to get a BC/BS of VT plan and I looked on their website and found in network doctors here in VT (although I have to call and verify).
I also asked about an IUD since my old HMO didn't cover it. BC/BS will cover the doctor's visits but I'd have to buy the actual IUD, so I have no idea how much all of that is going to cost.
Coffee: amyth, S is here right now looking at my stuff. And talking, of course. Not bad so far. He has to leave in a half hour.
Yay, askye!!!!!! About time, I say.
I thought about doing it with electrical tape so I could just erase the notes. But it's not my building, so I don't want to damage the board.
Liese, I highly recommend graphic art tape. You can get it at art or craft supply stores. It will stick on a whiteboard and then come off with no problems. I don't know if you can leave it up there, but I have some on my whiteboard that's been there for 2 years. You can clean the board and it will stay on, but it's super easy to take off and won't harm the board.
My COBRA FIASCO IS DONE!
Woo! Mine is allegedly fixed, but now the stress-inducing question is whether the IUD will make it to the doctor's office in time for my appointment. I want to be optimistic and believe that it will, but everything else has gone so apocalyptically bad that I can't really believe that it will work out.
I need a drink and it's only 10:24 a.m.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you Steph.
yay askye!
sending out the stupid stuff is over, to steph
Ship-like-the-wind~ma to Steph's IUD. I really hope I am not embarking on my own COBRA fiasco. I mailed in my election form last Monday, and emailed my former company two days ago to make sure they got it and such, and haven't heard anything. Which is par for the course for them, but I'd really like to have some paper in hand before I move.
S is gone. An hour of fanboy natter for $20. Not too bad.
Right. Now I have to Make All The Phone Calls, Tweak All The Resumes, and Pack All The Things.
Ha! smonster, I was in a meeting, and just got out, and I was wondering if you got S. out of there. I'M SO GLAD.
Do you want the first Hunger Games book back? C. wants to borrow it. Keep in mind that with a baby, it might take her a month to finish it.
Good luck, Steph.
