I'm imagining the surprise from the dead who expect virgins and instead get raisins.
Very amusing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Congratulations, Seska and the Girl!
I want to learn a skilled trade, REALLY learn it. I want to know how things work, and how to build them, and take them apart. I want to teach other people how to do the same thing. But it's tricky, because apprentice positions generally don't pay for shit. I need to do some serious number-crunching and soul-searching and I may end up in an Americorps position.
I think this would be a very valuable set of skills to acquire. But yeah, having the financial space to acquire them could be tricky.
WOO HOO SESKA AND THE GIRL!!!
If ever an event deserved ASSCAPS, it's this. I'm so happy for you!
Congratulations to Seska and The Girl.
Best wishes and a long and happy life to Seska and The Girl!
I'd...really rather have the raisins than the virgins. Especially golden raisins!
Can I just say (as I leaf through a folder I haven't cracked in ten years that contains scads of my writing going back to jr high) thank DOG there was no internet when I was in high school.
oh no oh no oh no. I just found vampire fic. It is sooo weird reading horrible fiction that I know is mine but don't remember writing. I'm laughing and sweating and my eyes are watering. It's horrible and enjoyable at the same time like (I imagine) a deep tissue massage.
eta on a non-related note, Steph! I read Peeps and it was awesome! I was actually laughing as I finished it. I can see why it was right up your alley, too.
Right? Because -- THE CAT, what the hell?!? That was awesome.
Congratulations, Seska and The Girl!
smonster -- read The Last Days, too. It's sort of a sequel. Kind of. More like a sideways-quel.
Also, I unreservedly adore the Midnighters trilogy. All the Ada Lovelace references alone rock my socks, but the whole thing is pretty cool. And creepy.
Happiness and joy to you and the Girl, Seska!
