I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Not dead, exactly. Mainly exhausted. Achieved: visited possible new uni, collected The Girl's present (a fun cartoon-style painting I commissioned from a local artist), got my hair dyed. Now there's just getting up at 6am to go to a conference, and picking up vans and packing dresses and things, oh and we have to write something to say at the civil partnership registration on Friday (not vows exactly - for that we've got the ketubah at Satuday's blessing - but something to mark the legal bit. I might promise not to nag if The Girl promises not to leave her shoes in the living room, etc.) And then we can get on with it. And then there will be cake! I'm living for cake.

Erin, sorry for the delay in replying - haven't had a chance to check the boards today. I've replied to your e-mail. I may have forgotten to add 'UK' at the end of my address. But that is where I am!

That would be very kind of you. I could take them to the thrift store, where the ebay sharks troll for new stuff to sell, but I might as well get any profit.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cake!

And also, so much supportive~ma out to Kristin. It's ultra crappy that you are under so much stress. Also, it's crappy that words on a screen can only do so much to make someone feel better.

Frack Pix, mayitallworkoutinagoodway~ma

speaking of working out, how much am i not feeling like swimming or going to yoga this week? Cold kicked in Saturday but i've been kicking its ass with rest, fluids, lemon ginger echinacea juice, and hot tea with lemon and honey. I feel like i've climbed to the top of the cliff of sickness and have both hands on solid ground but haven't quite pulled the rest of me up. And i honestly don't know if an hour of yoga would help or hurt at this point, but all i feel like doing is curling up in bed with kitties and book and napping away the rest of my weekend.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And i honestly don't know if an hour of yoga would help or hurt at this point

I am so right there with you. Like, I am actively trying to figure it out right now.

I just ... ugh.

Pix, I am so sorry.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, Pix, that's all just too much. I hope it works out okay.
