Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

WTF?

Yeah.

I mean, we have to make assloads of phone calls and hopefully get things straightened out, but. I really just want the whole insurance racket to go fuck themselves to death so we can start again with a nice clean sensibly tax-funded single-player slate.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

amych, that fucking blows. I don't even understand -- didn't you get prescriptions and see doctors while on that plan? How can they...?

UGH.

D and I got married 6 months early...to get me healthcare. It's freaking ridiculous.

No - I'm not on any ongoing meds, so I was blissfully unaware that I wasn't actually covered until, oh, a couple of hours ago. (You may be thinking of a different buffista.)

I'm mostly stupid healthy, and so can sometimes get away with that kind of ignorance. It also means I'm historically cheap as shit to insure, but I don't see that argument carrying me far in the face of "sorry, you needed to sign a totally different piece of paper 4 months ago".

It also scares me that while I don't have any recent nasties, I have a big habit of pushing my body to just this side of injury, and I'm not exactly getting younger.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

amych, wtf? So, like, they were just keeping all that money, la la la? I hope you get it straightened out.

Just had a 40 min convo with a potential roomie, and I think we'd live together fairly well, but the timing may not work out. I'd rather not move twice in 3 months if I can avoid it. But things might work, if I can find a place that she can go look at, and then she can find someone to sublet for a bit.

Thrive to spite them

Insurance issues suck.

I think Dean is okay -he's been trying to climb the walls. So far he's gotten on top of the refrigerator, the cat tree, and 2 of the radiators and keeps reaching up and putting his paws on the walls like he can figure out a way to scale them.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think Dean is okay

I'm glad to hear it.

I am really glad that neither of my cats go after pills. I take those same vitamin Ds and I have dropped more than a few. My heart froze when I read your post.

and keeps reaching up and putting his paws on the walls like he can figure out a way to scale them.

Apparently I taught a friend's cat bad things. I got an email saying, "If I pick Mina up when she's hyper these days, she starts craning her neck looking for bugs." This might be because I was doing this the other night. Might. She might have figured it out all on her own though.

Dean gets bored and starts knocking things over and then tries to climb the walls. I would have gotten out the laser pointer but I'll leave that for later.

He can be a very sweet kitty and a very weird one. Since the cats don't have the oversized chair to sleep on they've been sleeping on my bed. And when I got bed or go to lay down - if he's on the bed, he'll jump down.

And go curl up in the recliner where I was just sitting. But in the mornings they are both on the foot of the bed (this is relatively new). I'm not used to it so I've kicked them off a few times by accident.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I have no answers.

But.

ZOMG, GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY! I sold my first pysanka online! In my very own Etsy shop! Even with insanely high shipping costs! (for i am new to online selling, and very confused by complex things like variable shipping costs, so just went with the large flat rate box cuz i know that works.) This, after selling my very first pysanky in person at a craft show on Saturday. Holy crap, if i sell 3 more online this year i'll turn a profit!

You might have noticed i am excited. I am EXCITED! Just need to way for the paypal payment to clear cuz i already have it boxed and will be ready to ship tomorrow!

Anyone here have sucess selling on Etsy? I could use pointers. And help. And suggestions.
