Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Talked to my sister and mom last night. She should just be in for a few days. It's most likely an infection as well as complications from her ongoing congestive heart failure. They're working on drying out some fluid in her lungs and things like that and then will send her back home.
Good news, Drew. Pix, I hope you feel better.
Sparky, I'm sending happy birthday wishes to Jeff. I've reposted on FB and twitter, and I'll try to get some celebrity dog-lovers to retweet.
Our chat about blow jobs yesterday paid off bigtime for my DH last night. Modesty forbids me to say more.
I've reposted on FB and twitter
Thank-you, Maria and everyone else who has reposted.
Sending health~ma to the PixDesigns and Get!Spotted~ma to Sass.
Resisting the urge to tell Scrappy: Pics or it didn't happen. Not resisting very well, it seems.
There's a "Scrappy is wise" joke in there somewhere, but I'm not looking for it.
Sparky, fwiw, I've been talking to the dog people in my neighborhood about Sassy. I've seen some signs in the neighborhood, but I thought maybe the personal touch would help.
Thank-you, Todd.
Any DCistas who are willing to carry business cards we have w/ Sassy's picture and the phone number we have for this, ping me and I'll make sure you get some.
continued ~ma and a question for the moms:
I wanted to send my mom some calla lillies for sunday becase 1) they're pretty 2) they are alleged to be awesome at cleaning indoor air and C) we have an ongoing joke about "boy flowers". Delivered potted plants are EXPENSIVE. Would it be at all rude for me to send her a nice pot and some bulbs? I'm worried because she's not one for gardening or tending to living things (aside from me. plants in her care tend to die because they don't demand water or food) so giving her a "gift" which would require her to pot and water it isn't necessarily the most thoughtful thing in the world.
Hrm, when i put it like that...maybe i'll just stick with the mosquito repellent and really nice tea.
