All I know about Combinatorics is that Amita studied it...you'll do way better than I.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Aw, thanks, Nora. That would be nice.
smonster, I've encountered DBT, but any time I've looked into it it's seemed ever so complicated, which put me off. Interesting to hear that it's helpful, though.
Hope the seminar goes well, Hil!

Amita?
Charlie's girlfriend on numbers...
On Numb3rs! Which, yeah, is probably as much as I know about it too. Which is to say, our Hil is awesome!
And, no, you don't want us filling in for you. But I do view what you do with new respect, separate from my own struggles with math all along.
insent, smonster.
Good luck, Hil.
Good luck, Hil!
On a related note - something about that place felt creepy and familiar, and I finally figured it out. Remember the creepy warren in Watership Down? Where everything was great on the surface, but poison underneath? Yeah, just like that.
Bleurgh! Don't ask where anyone is.
Received, -t. Thank you. My parents would keep Frankie as long as I will let them, it's actually the cats who are more of an issue. Ideally I will find somewhere to live that I can bring all three.
Seska, I think we've had this convo before. I like to think of DBT as some basic concepts, the most basic being mindfulness, and a wide array of strategies from which one can pick and choose the ones that work for one. You mentioned NLP; I like DBT because it takes a very gentle, gradual, and non-judgmental approach to learning to think differently.
