On a related note - something about that place felt creepy and familiar, and I finally figured it out. Remember the creepy warren in Watership Down? Where everything was great on the surface, but poison underneath? Yeah, just like that.

Seska, I think we've had this convo before. I like to think of DBT as some basic concepts, the most basic being mindfulness, and a wide array of strategies from which one can pick and choose the ones that work for one. You mentioned NLP; I like DBT because it takes a very gentle, gradual, and non-judgmental approach to learning to think differently.

FWIW, I had multiple cats the whole time I was in NO and never had any issues with pet excluding leases. M also fosters and boards cats.

Yeah, I had roommates for the first couple of years. It'll depend on the roommates, of course, but pet-friendly living arrangements in NO are not so scarce as some places.
