Angel: Is that what you think you are--a hero? Spike: Saved the world didn't I? Angel: Once. Talk to me after you've done it a couple more times.

'Destiny'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

This came out at one point when he said flatly that anyone leaving would be paid for no more than one week of unused vacation (previously they'd get paid for all unused vacation time).

um, isn't that illegal?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Just finished filing my unemployment claim and called Zen again. She's feeling a bit better. Not so light-headed. I told her I'd keep checking on her every half hour or so.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I would take the Celexa if no one else has.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Dana, it's yours! Email me your address, and I'll send!

I feel like Santa this week.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

um, isn't that illegal?

I think so ... but his expertise was in accounting and he didn't see any reason he couldn't make up the rules as he went along. He left before it was ever put to a test and things went back to what they were before.

Our wings are not tired

Ugh. Today is being a day. BofA caught fraudulent charges on my business account. Thankfully they snagged it when it was only about $50 in charges and the card is now dead and a new one is coming to me and I have the temporary one in my wallet now. That isn't it though. While I was on the phone to BofA my sister left a message that mom is at the hospital because of severe pain at one of her hip replacement sites. They are working on X-rays now and I need to check back with everyone in another hour or so. If she needs surgery that will get tricky due to her health.

Yay.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am stuck in philadelphia for a while, since, forf the second time this trip, my flight was canceled. So I'm in the middle of seven hours of waiting at the airport. Also, my credit card company called to let me knopw that someone has been making charges on my account for the past few days. Closing that account.

It is very difficult to find vegan passover food at an airport.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

If any of the ladies here take yaz or the generic equivalent and would like 4 months (unopened) of the generic, lemme know. I'm apparently name-brand only when it comes to that.
