Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Bitches--Teppy's cool shirt link made me wonder what places you recommend for shopping online for clothes? What are some lesser-known sites I should check out? In return I offer up Duluth Trading Company [link] which is GREAT for jeans, t-shirts and the like. The shirts are cut long, so they are terrific for active stuff--I wear the zip-up hoodie shirt for Pilates and people always want to know where I got it.

“Not dead yet!”

I like ideeli.com. You have to sign up, but they can have some rockin' deals.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I was trying to be ... well, it's not humorous ... ironic? sarcastic? cynical?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sardonic?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sardonic

Ooh, good word. A word I certainly underuse. As is dismay, which is perfect for some applications and I forget about it.

Morocco! Awesome, Trudy. Manymany photos expected, plus travelogue.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Duluth Trading Company

They have a great dog bed thingie for the car, that you hook over the backs of the front seats, so it makes a hammock-like thing.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have one of those (though not from that company) and it is Teh Awesome. I never have to worry if the dog is wet or muddy (or throws up), plus she can't fall down into the foot well.

Speaking of shopping, this skirt comes highly recommended from a friend, and would be good for meara or other travelers. [link]

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Diamond shoes problems:

The awesome dress I was about to buy? Yeah, it won't happen.

The dress costs 27$. Shipping, 29$. No, not with shipping. Just the shipping. Regular shipping.

Curses.
