Everyone's getting spanked but me.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have one of those (though not from that company) and it is Teh Awesome. I never have to worry if the dog is wet or muddy (or throws up), plus she can't fall down into the foot well.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Speaking of shopping, this skirt comes highly recommended from a friend, and would be good for meara or other travelers. [link]

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Diamond shoes problems:

The awesome dress I was about to buy? Yeah, it won't happen.

The dress costs 27$. Shipping, 29$. No, not with shipping. Just the shipping. Regular shipping.

Curses.

Ooh, I like that skirt.

Other shopping: Cook's Illustrated was raving about this alternative to the Penguin seltzer thingy for those of us without the counter space to spare.

“Not dead yet!”

I've been looking for athletic/dance skirts on the cheap for practice. I like being able to see what my feet/legs are doing, but need to be able to move. However, true dance skirts can cost the freakin' earth, y'all.

I did just buy this one, for a reasonable price:

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That lets you fizz things that aren't water! Jealous now!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I wear foundation so rarely that my jar of 1WL should last forever.

Being a Peach Person is HARD. Although I make do with the Iredele pressed mineral foundation in Ivory. It's sheer enough to not matter if the tone's a little less perfectly matched.

Any recommendations for a replacement? Lighter coverage is better (in terms of texture, though, obvs. also in skin tone, since I am pale but very pink [in fact, I think that's why I liked the 1N -- it dialed down the pink just enough to keep me from looking like WC Fields, but not so much that I looked like I had the wrong shade of foundation on]).

[link] Alima's stuff is very nicely milled. It looks like they've expanded their color range, so I may even be able to find a match for my peachness.

“Not dead yet!”

I have also been anointed the Best Mom Ever.

Nate likes a girl. A lot. She's a cute geek, who games, and likes zombies and they're friends. He's been trying to think of ways to let her know he reallllly likes her.

I found him this to give her as an Easter gift:

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Barb, you have definitely earned the best mom ever award.

giraffe mode

Barb that is awesome and thank you!!! I saw the zombie bunnies on April Fools Day and I made a mental note to go back and look to see if they were in stock, but totally forgot to. I just ordered 4 (kids, hubby, brother).
