erin, when I first wanted one, they were sold out. Keep watching -- they'll print another run, I swear.
Trudy, that's SO AWESOME!! If I send you some money, will you buy some some earrings or a necklace?
Shir!!! That's amazing -- very best of luck to you!! Keep us posted.
8 days till Spring Break. 8 days. Off to work now.
More girliness: I would totally cute in this, yes? [link]
Utterly. Which color were you thinking? Cuz each one I looked at, I said, "No, this is the color for Teppy!"
Pink. Uh, maybe. Or blue! I'm torn between those two.

If it were up to me, of those two colors, I would choose the pink for you. If it were between the pink and the aqua, I'd end up saying both.
Because you know the Montreal Opportunity is all your fault, too, right?
Oh, sure, blame everyone but yourself.
Dude, I'm going to Morocco.
That is an exceptionally cool birthday present.
Though I feel as if I should revise "speaks English fluently" after what you've done there.
I've just had more practice with the arcane dialect of Resume.
Loved Laga's present-opening watch-and-post. Erin, you are just a wonderful person.
Trudy, MOROCCO! Holy carp. That's amazing!
I've just had more practice with the arcane dialect of Resume.
And it is so true that the language of the Resume is very different from plain, ordinary English. Most of us whose first (or only) language is English are not fluent in Resume - which is why there are so many books and businesses to help us translate.
Morocco! Yay!
If you go to Rabat, wave in the direction of the old city of Salee for me, for my ancestor Murat Reis, the pirate who sailed from there.
Dude, Morocco! That's fabulous. What a great birthday present!
I've just had more practice with the arcane dialect of Resume.
And I'm very grateful for that.
ION - the moment had come. And by "the moment", I mean "telling my history lecturer of American South 1820-1920 about Firefly". She sounded excited. Three seconds after it, she stopped and went "wait. Are you the one who started the Lovecraft discussion previously?".
I haven't, but I participated in it, yes.
Oh, you guys. I'm eager to hear back from the Montreal Opportunity. I kindda hate to say it, but it filled me with happiness to think of getting away from here for a while. Watching your country losing every shred of morality, and living in a place without a legacy of war for a while... yeah, I'll take the cold for that.
wait ... Shir, are you in the U.S. or ....?
