Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Everyday Minerals, yes/no? They have wee samples, and a ton of shades, and different coverages

I haven't found a replacement yet because I stocked up a little, but being both pale and differently undertoned, I am not looking forward to the search. But samples? Goooooooood. If you try them, report?

My nails look amazing. I layered It's Not Rocket Science over Night Before.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OMG best idea evah. May I imitate you from afar? I have that t-shirt and get so many compliments every time I wear it.

Of course! And it's a COMFY Halloween costume; I bought an orange hoodie, too, to wear over the tank, but start looking for knee socks NOW. They're a bitch to find.

GRONK. One more smoke, and I am going to bed EARLY tonight!

The status is NOT quo.

Silly rabbit, that's what sock dreams is for.

Hi all. I'm not really here. I have ten more papers to grade. I'm taking the advice of someone here (can't remember who) who suggested the Rule of 5. I tell myself I just have to do five. Then once I've done those five, I take a break before tackling the next five. I'm about to go back to work now.

Socks are always at Sock Dreams. They might drain my accounts, but they are brilliant at having exactly the thing you want or need.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Utterly. Which color were you thinking? Cuz each one I looked at, I said, "No, this is the color for Teppy!"

Hi, Pix who is not here.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oo Cass, I love both those colors! (I know, I know, quelle suprise!)

I am not looking forward to replacing my Aromaleigh, because foundations are almost always too yellow or too pink on me. I despair of finding another make up line that has something like Aromaleigh's CL tones. But I will definitely check out Everyday Minerals.

Try the It's Not Rocket Science over something very, very dark. Shimmery if possible but the dark is more important. Whoa. It's really amazing.

I despair of finding another make up line that has something like Aromaleigh's CL tones.

I, too, despair. Unsurprisingly. If you find something you like, post???? I'll do the same.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Last year when I turned ::gulp:: 40 my buddy C (whom you may recall surviving a stroke about 5 years ago now) told me he couldn't make it east for my shindig, but that he'd get me a ticket to visit him in SF for a birthday present.

Then I went to Florida, and the trip got delayed.

Then I got back and pretty immediately began the process of getting insurance and then surgery -- and the trip got delayed again.

Last Thursday he called me and the following conversation transpired:

C: So, are you all better yet?
T: Well, that depends on one's definition of "all better". Can I meet a visiting friend for dinner? Yes. Can I shop and wander museums with him? No.
C: Well, when will you be all better?
T: It's hard to say, I'm getting stronger, my stamina is increasing...
C: Will you be all better by _______?
T: Sure! I should be better by _______!
C: Want to go to Morocco?

I'm floored. I'm thrilled. He's had this trip planned for himself for a while and decided to take me on his miles and stick me in his rooms for my birthday present. He had been waiting for my feet to start recovering to see if it was even feasable for me to go.

Dude, I'm going to Morocco.

Specifically, Marakesh and Fez. I can hardly stand it. Aims, I am going to ride a camel.
