Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I realized this morning I am close to a Makeup Crisis OH NOES.

I've been using Aromaleigh's voile foundation in 1N (although 1C worked okay, too). Since they no longer exist, and my jar is running low, I need a replacement. Way back in the day I used Bare Escentuals, which was fine, but I liked the texture of the voile foundation better.

Any recommendations for a replacement? Lighter coverage is better (in terms of texture, though, obvs. also in skin tone, since I am pale but very pink [in fact, I think that's why I liked the 1N -- it dialed down the pink just enough to keep me from looking like WC Fields, but not so much that I looked like I had the wrong shade of foundation on]).

Everyday Minerals, yes/no? They have wee samples, and a ton of shades, and different coverages, which reminds me of Aromaleigh.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I went as that Velma for Halloween this year.

OMG best idea evah. May I imitate you from afar? I have that t-shirt and get so many compliments every time I wear it.

The Moses thing was pretty funny.

I'm getting the pig!

I've used Everyday Minerals for at least three years now. Very light in feel but also great coverage. I use the Fair matte during the winter and Fair medium during the summer months and then usually blend the two for in between. The prices are great for what you get and the sample sizes are way more than what most places would send.

I actually need to buy more, so thank you for the reminder.

I haven't found a replacement yet because I stocked up a little, but being both pale and differently undertoned, I am not looking forward to the search. But samples? Goooooooood. If you try them, report?

My nails look amazing. I layered It's Not Rocket Science over Night Before.

Of course! And it's a COMFY Halloween costume; I bought an orange hoodie, too, to wear over the tank, but start looking for knee socks NOW. They're a bitch to find.

GRONK. One more smoke, and I am going to bed EARLY tonight!

Silly rabbit, that's what sock dreams is for.

Hi all. I'm not really here. I have ten more papers to grade. I'm taking the advice of someone here (can't remember who) who suggested the Rule of 5. I tell myself I just have to do five. Then once I've done those five, I take a break before tackling the next five. I'm about to go back to work now.

Socks are always at Sock Dreams. They might drain my accounts, but they are brilliant at having exactly the thing you want or need.

Utterly. Which color were you thinking? Cuz each one I looked at, I said, "No, this is the color for Teppy!"

Hi, Pix who is not here.
