Jilli, how is Tzepesh doing?
Pete just got off the phone with the vet. Tzepesh is eating of his own volition, so they may not have to put the feeding tube in. We have an appointment at 4PM tomorrow which, if we're lucky, will be his discharge appointment. And we're going to go visit him today. He's going to be on steroids for life, but that's no big deal to me.

Is he going to be on multiple pills? If so, a drugstore that sells empty capsules (our local Rexall does) is your friend.
I hope Chloe has a peaceful passing, Fred.

For at least two weeks, yes.

Oh, good point! I will add those to the shopping list.
I also regularly see empty capsules at Whole Foods -- places that sell medicinal herbs in bulk will tend to have them, if you have trouble finding them in a drugstore.
I know I've seen them at Whole Foods, too.
FredPete, I hope today treats you as gently as possible.
Bonny! One, I owe you email. Two, one of my dreams last night was about sitting at a coffee shop with you, both of us coloring away in our coloring books. (Yes, I bought the vampires coloring book. I kinda had to.)
Well, being in DC (although not a government employee or contractor, so we got a message this afternoon that regardless of what happens, Monday IS a work day), I've been following the budget "talks".
Reading and hearing the budget proposals the Republicans are coming up with, especially Ryan's, I keep hearing the voice of Ebenezer Scrooge, "let them die and reduce the surplus population."

Sometimes I even hear echoes of fattening Irish babies for English tables.
Kitty~ma to all who need it.
