i'm realizing more and more that internet dating is like internet shopping. I can go to overstock.com and look for good deals on sheets, or match.com and peruse the local singles. Not especially encouraging. At least i don't have to pay for shipping.

With the conversation about insecurity and not feeling like anyone really genuinely likes you, I had a nice antidote to it yesterday. Mid-year performance reviews, and when my boss asked our primary internal clients for feedback got this:
"Brenda is absolutely the best I have ever worked with on all counts"!
Oy. (Now if only I can put the Impostor Syndrome to rest.)
