Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Happy birthday, Spidra!

With the conversation about insecurity and not feeling like anyone really genuinely likes you, I had a nice antidote to it yesterday. Mid-year performance reviews, and when my boss asked our primary internal clients for feedback got this:

"Brenda is absolutely the best I have ever worked with on all counts"!

Oy. (Now if only I can put the Impostor Syndrome to rest.)

Happy Birthday, Spidra!

I'll try calling bonny a little later this morning, and if she doesn't answer I'll try Bartleby's babysitters at their store after they open at 11.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Happy Birthday, Spidra!

Thanks, smonster and Sparky, for checking up on bonny.

Yeah, please keep us posted.

Way too much scary shit going on these days. WTF, world?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'll try calling bonny a little later this morning, and if she doesn't answer I'll try Bartleby's babysitters at their store after they open at 11.

Oh, good. I was going to go there next, but it might seem a little less weird coming from someone relatively local. Thanks, love.

No answer at bonny's phone, but I left a message to tell her we're worried and thinking about her.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ow. My ankle hurts. If it were a regular day, I'd put on the TENS unit and turn it on throughout the day, but I'm going to synagogue, and walking into a synagogue with a battery pack at my waist and wires running down my leg seems like a bad idea.

not your mom's socks.

Thanks for checking on Bonny, Sparky.

Please Mr. professor, get back to me and say you can meet, ok? I'm being really patient, and trying not to worry that my email got lost in your google conversations.

Um, yeah. Especially this week. Maybe once they know you a little better.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sending continuing ~ma for bonny, Drew, and lisah's brother.

Brackets for them as needs/wants them.

Hil, I hope that your ankle is ok with waiting until after synogogue.
