I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Would it hurt me if I went to the store and got allegra to try this evening?

Nope. Try to take it about 12-ish hours (or more) from the Zyrtec, but you'll be fine.

t edit And by "ish," I mean 11 hours will be okay if you need to go to bed and don't want to wait up for another hour, or something.

Compassionately intolerant

All I've been doing all day is stare, open mouthed, into space.

Last night, I took a lovely warm bath after changing my linens and clearing up so I could feel less sick.

I got into bed, tucked up the covers and immediately coughed so hard, I spit up over my fuzzy robe, my nightshirt and my duvet.

Steph, it reminded me of that "The Fly" moment you mentioned the other day...but not in an amusing way.

What is the Universe trying to tell me with all this?

Much easy recovery ~ma to Laura's mom.

At 89, everything is serious.

May it be less so than you fear!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ma to Laura Ma.

Punishingly Intricate

I took the claritin Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

I took a claritin at noon and was pissed nothing had changed w/r/t my miserableness in an hour. But then I found out that you need to take it for a few days in a row so that it can get into your system before it really starts working.

Why didn't somebody tell me that a few days ago? Wah!

Whhaaaatttt?!

Nobody said anything about a loading dose!

Oh lord. What does that mean? Should I go back to square one?

I won't do me any good for tomorrow...and it's going to rain tonight. Will the rain help with the symptoms if my allergy is tree pollen?

Crap. I hate not knowing what to do.

Sometimes it does for me. I can't promise relief, but the rain does seem to keep the pollen from floating hither and yon.

I have to switch back and forth between claritin and zyrtec every 6 months or so, because it seems like they just stop working at a certain point. And when I switch, it only takes about 24 hours before I notice relief. So you could take Zyrtec tonight and tomorrow and see how it goes.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

For me, I need a day or so for Zyrtec to kick in, but when it does, it is joy. Allegra doesn't work for me.
