Huge amounts of health~ma, bonny.
Jars, in terms of the wheat-free thing, you might want to do an exclusion diet approach (but on a smaller scale). I cut out all gluten for a while. Then I added in things one at a time that have less gluten in them than wheat. Now I'm at the point where I can have small amounts of wheat if I'm careful. It can be tricky to keep going with it, but there are things that make it easier. I bought a bread maker and found a recipe for Irish soda bread that I can make with various grain flours.
Virtual happy-hugs for Sean. (Only virtual. I don't do hugs. I like seeing other people enjoying them. Not in a pervy way. Well. Probably not.)
And that story is a definitive story of Jewish humor.
I never find the humour-stories that The Girl tells me very funny. I tend to go "Where's the punchline?" and then take Serious Life Lessons from them. (Jewishness - it's possible I iz doing it wrong.)
On which note, shana tova to Jewish types! And their non-Jewish loved-ones!
In honor of Rosh Hashannah, I give you Old Jews Telling Jokes.
Hey California types. Is it a correct statement to say, "If you are driving NORTH on the PCH, then the ocean is NOT to your right." ?
Much health~ma, Bonny.
And Shana Tova to all who celebrate it!
P-C, that sounds like loads of fun.
Unless there's a switchback somewhere, Aims.
It was instructive to read (semi-skimmy) the convo inspired by introversion v. extroversion. Specifically that so many people have thoughts that they're just being tolerated. I have those thoughts a lot. While I know that at least some of the time it's true (I've had people tell me that's what they were feeling about me), knowing that other people feel that way might help me believe that at least some of the time I'm just being too sensitive.
I didn't think my 10 years in LA screwed that badly with my sense of right and left. Thanks, Spidra.
I bet they won't bother with English sub/supertitles. Do you know the story at all?
Nope!* But I am going to get the libretto from the library so I can follow along.
*Until skimming the Wikipedia summary last night, I thought Tosca was a dude. Probably because I was thinking of Toscanini.
"If you are driving NORTH on the PCH, then the ocean is NOT to your right." ?
Well, first off, delete "the". Other than that you are correct. If you are driving north on PCH the ocean is on your left.
If you are driving north on LSD, the lake is on your right.
Sometimes I briefly forget which body of water I am near and think I am going the wrong way.
