I can't think of a better way to start the new year than a group hug.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I have a very hard time believing that people (even people I've known for a very long time) actually like me, or want to spend time with me.
I actually like you, but I don't believe you want to spend time with me, because surely you have better things to do.
The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure that it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry. ~Hemingway
I bet the Germans have emoticons for those feelings.
I think Yiddish covers a lot of adjectives I never thought were excited. That's why I thought learning it someday.
Seriously? CNN spent months trying to develop a new show and then they call it "Parker-Spitzer" and have a promo fake-riffing local-news style about how lame the name is? Stay creative, CNN. "Parker? I didn't even know her."(/ faux-Olbermann) Numfar, do the dance of Countdown joy. I guess Lorne Michaels wouldn't license "Jane, You Ignorant Slut"
Or the French. I hear they have an emoticon for everything.
I find my reaction to almost everything is covered by @@.
Skipping hundreds of posts to pop in here and wish a "shana tova" (a good year) to those who will celebrate Rosh Hashana (tomorrow and Friday) - and to everyone else, too. May it be a year of life, health, peace, success, and happiness for all.

"It's like a pair of eyes. You're looking at the umlaut, and it's looking at you."
Or the French. I hear they have an emoticon for everything.
French emoticons are so saucy. They all have very slightly ironic eyebrows.
