Cordelia was right, "Spank your inner moppet," or comfort, bolster, support her, help her or him become a functioning adult. And if at all possible, remove contempt for anyone from the equation. Justified, directed, purposeful anger is useful. Contempt is not.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange
bless my mother's sweet heart. She's on a church (methodist) trip in Isreal and communicating solely via text msg. She keep saying she's never texted before, tho that is mostly how we communicated in Canada 2 years ago. Her texting seems to already be more advanced than mine. Today i get a msg ending with "Saw a nice Jerusalem X I'd lik 2 get u, wud u lik 1?"
Is she threatening to buy me a cross? Is that normal?
