Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Vortex, wouldn't you like a note like that from a student?

Trudy, I hope you got some sleep!

I may try the foam roller. It sounds kind of terrifying, but useful.

Sorry for posting and running last night, but it was late, and I'd just deposited quarters under her pillow and wanted to go to bed.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I LOVE my foam roller. It's a good pain.

Kara is ADORABLE and has great manners!

Owen is now giving Olivia "Listening Lessons" every day after school. It is an agreement between the two of them because Liv says she needs to learn to not be naughty.

Coding and Sleeping

That note to the tooth fairy is the best!

Owen and Olivia are cute too. When Em and Leif get together, I feel like taking bets on how many minutes will pass before somebody is crying.

Owen is now giving Olivia "Listening Lessons"... Liv says she needs to learn to not be naughty.

That's pretty adorable.

Aidan got to go to McDonald's yesterday after his eye doctor appt. And had a meltdown because he didn't want food, he wanted to ride the rapid again, so his dad took him around the city on the rapid instead and fed him poptarts. He was a sugar-rushed fiend when he got home. He got to ride escalators! And the health line! (a bus that bends in the middle) It was a good day...though he was an over-stimulated, emotional mess for the rest of it.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Aidan got to go to McDonald's yesterday after his eye doctor appt.

I hope the appointment went well. I saw my regular doctor yesterday for a bloodshot and painful eye. We think I may have caught conjunctivitis from the cats.

The doctor prescribed drops, which pleased the cats no end after we've been giving them drops off and on for several weeks. (I think Arthur would have volunteered to give them to me himself!) So I've been showing them that I can take my eyedrops without flinching, struggling, or the like.

Oh Fred Pete, that's not fun! I always thought I'd be sick free once the kids got out of school. Never thought of getting things from the pets.

It went well. His eyes haven't deteriorated any, which is good. As well as the low vision, he's extremely nearsighted and has astigmatism. He broke his glasses in a meltdown a month ago, and we made the appt. and then his doctor went out of town and we had to reschedule, so he's been without them a while. I'm hoping he'll appreciate them more once he gets them. We're going to get flexible metal frames this time.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Buffistae sprog are so. Darn. Cute.

And I can remember when riding the Rapid was a very cool treat. But buses that bend in the middle just freak me out.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I heard from the person I apologized to yesterday! And a lovely message, too. One of the things she said was this, "I don't think any of us were the person we wanted to be in our teens, but we get opportunities to grow and change and if we're smart we take them." She friended me and asked lots of questions and I am very pleased and grateful.

That's so great, Scrappy! Kudos to her for forgiving you.

I, OTOH, refuse to Facebook friend people who were shitty to me in high school. Yes, I know it's been 20 years, I'm sure that you've learned and grown, but unless you show me that your colors have changed, I'm going to assume that you are the same douchebag.
