Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Buffistae sprog are so. Darn. Cute.

And I can remember when riding the Rapid was a very cool treat. But buses that bend in the middle just freak me out.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I heard from the person I apologized to yesterday! And a lovely message, too. One of the things she said was this, "I don't think any of us were the person we wanted to be in our teens, but we get opportunities to grow and change and if we're smart we take them." She friended me and asked lots of questions and I am very pleased and grateful.

That's so great, Scrappy! Kudos to her for forgiving you.

I, OTOH, refuse to Facebook friend people who were shitty to me in high school. Yes, I know it's been 20 years, I'm sure that you've learned and grown, but unless you show me that your colors have changed, I'm going to assume that you are the same douchebag.

Scrappy, that is just totally awesome!

Scrappy, I hope when I grow up I'm as nice a person as she is.

In the meantime, I'm good with evil.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm surprised how many of my high school friends have Facebook, considering they're British. It's the first time I could easily find them online. Adoption is slow, but increasing. They don't seem to do the whole "class of" thing with the same gusto as elsewhere.

That's great Scrappy.

I haven't friended many people from HS, just a few that I sort of stumbled upon. I didn't have a big circle of friends in HS, but I can't really think of anyone who treated me badly. I got a good number of rejects when asking out girls, but I latter realized that was really my fault for asking out the wrong girls and it wasn't like I didn't have any dates. Huh, I had a very un-traumatic HS experience while also being a nerd.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It's my grade-school tormenters I'd like the apologies from. Things were far worse for me there than in high-school.

Okay, what the hell do you do with these roller things that's so excruciating?

Basically, you sit or lie down on them so you're targeting major muscles or muscle groups (e.g. glutes, hamstrings, quads, back) and roll yourself back and forth on the thing. It's sort of like a self-administered deep massage, and it helps work out tightness, adhesions, etc. It hurts like hell the first few times you do it, but it does a great job of getting the knots out.

My HS reunion was a few years ago, so there was a big push for everyone to get on Facebook to talk. I was on the committee, so I accepted the requests during the reunion, but defriended/refused a lot of people later. I even have people that I don't remember friending me, and the only thing that we seem to have in common is being in the same 700 member class @@
