Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
May Daniel's boss get stuck at the office.
The big wind blew shingles off my roof. The same shingles, I'm sure, that were scared me and the cats last week with their banging. I was all, oh, dang, now I have to find a good roofer. This afternoon a guy knocked on my door, said I see you have loose shingles, and handed me a card. Been a roofer for 40 years. I hired him. Sometimes, what you need just comes along.

Estoy en Peru! Hola buffistas! ...I am even more worried about being able to do my job given that ive had mad trouble understanding some folks. Like the taxi driver and hotel clerk. Otoh, I had a random pleasant conversation with a guy on a bench a few minutes ago, and while I was ungrammatical, I got it all.
The weather here is gorgeous--it's low 80: and sunny, but with a nice breeze.

He's already told the boss which hotel he stayed at last time, and what type of suite. I wish he could ask to be paid for the hours on the road.
I'm not sure how much snow we've had, because it's not coming down, it's coming sideways. Some bits of the sidewalk was only 2" deep, but some was at least 6". And it has changed consistency, gotten kind of crunchy/pellet-like.
