Well, lady, I must say-- You're my kinda stupid.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Thoughts for Ginger and family.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Ceiling-ma, Sox.

Okay, thanks, I feel more confident! The kitties are not overeaters, so I'll leave out tons of food and water and make sure both boxes are clean before I leave, and they'll be fine for three days. They'll spend most of it sleeping anyway.

They'll spend most of it sleeping anyway.

That's not what they'll tell you when you get home.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

My life gets weirder and weirder. Dad just called: the nice lady at the funeral home who had helped him with everything had just called him. In part to make sure that everything was okay, did he have any questions, so on. The other part? When Dad was at the funeral home, he got to talking about me (like he does), and gave the nice lady a card for the GCS book. So she wanted to call my Dad, rave about how much she likes my site, how friendly and helpful it was, and that she is planning to buy a copy of Gothic Charm School and put it on the bookshelf at the funeral home.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, that's really lovely, Jilli.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Kinda weird but also quite nice.

And your dad is neat. He's so proud of you. Rightly so.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jilli, that is wonderful. It's making me smile, and I sure need it today.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I used to represent a Funeral Directors Association for workers comp issues and can say that that story doesn't surprise me a bit, Jilli. They are an interesting group of people! That is an awesome story.
