Really, yes. It was just one of those days at work. Someone had to be restrained for a half hour or so. While these situations do not produce the same, lasting, emotional effects that witnessing actual abuse does, to pretend it doesn't take some time and effort to process would be foolish. Reading the news does not help; reading Jilli's news did.
I used to represent a Funeral Directors Association for workers comp issues and can say that that story doesn't surprise me a bit, Jilli. They are an interesting group of people! That is an awesome story.
One imagines that, like military intelligence personnel, funeral directors must have a very interesting sense of humor.

A friend of mine (M) is a funeral director and he totally has a warped sense of humor. One of the reasons I like him.
I met him when another friend (R)started dating him. M was still an intern at a funeral home and lived in an apartment over the funeral home. And, because R and M are gay, we totally kidded with them for MONTHS that they were the real life Six Feet Under.
M is no longer an intern and they now live in a beautiful home they bought together.

No, they live in the Chicago 'burbs. Although, my R is also an actor (hobbyist, banker for a job).
