Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Laura, how far are you from Naples?

Our wings are not tired.

Naples is directly across state from me on the SW coast of Florida. It is near where my parents live. About 2 hours from Fort Lauderdale.

Mom is renting a place up there in March, and TCG and I are trying to decide if we want to join them for a few days. And I was thinking visiting you and your DH might help us to decided.

Compassionately intolerant

He's kind of like Clinton on What Not to Wear.

In retrospect, I think I was talking to myself there.

I love how supportive your guy sounds!

That would be great. If you have wheels it is easy enough to get here, but it is also easy for us to head to Naples. I go there at least once a month to visit my family anyway. March is usually a lovely time to be here too.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I took my cat to the vet yesterday for more tests. The results of the bloodwork are back. He's hyperthyroid and will need to be treated for that. So, that explains why he has been losing weight. The treatment will be expensive, but, treatable. Yay!

I should get the results of the xrays sometime today. The vet said she thought it looked like allergies or asthma is the root of his coughing and wheezing. Again, treatable. Yay!

So, it looks like fairly decent results. I am so freaking relieved I can barely stand it. I still want to hear for sure about the xrays and will be totally okay.

Ironically, I have thyroid problems and allergies and asthma. He is so my cat.

Poor punkin has had a hard week with the poking and prodding and tests. But he seems to have forgiven me and, most importantly, he'll be okay.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So glad your kitty will be okay, ChiKat!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay, treatability!

That's great, ChiKat!
