A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I think a flu shot could totally do that. I mean, think of how the flu sets your bones and joints to aching, anyway.

A nice shot o' flu could easily make the joint nearest achy. I'd give it a day and see, just baby it and take a hot shower or something.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

No, I'm talking about the flu shot. I have tendonitis in my right elbow, and it doesn't feel like this. Maybe it is just overuse. I reckon I can take an anti-inflammatory and if it still hurts Monday, call my doc. There was definitely no pop.

That's an odd spot for a flu shot Smonster. (At least, mine have always been more at the top of the arm rather on high on the shoulder.) I hope your shoulder feels better soon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My shoulder hurt a lot after my flu shot, but that's the shoulder that I've dislocated a few dozen times, so it kind of always hurts. So I guess my data point isn't much help.

Well, fuck. I know to be leery of anecdata, but this thread has me worried. Most report the shot was given very high on the arm, and that it hurt much more than expected, and are reporting serious pain lasting MONTHS. [link] I'm finding other threads as well. And apparently the correct location is three fingers down from the shoulder - I'm feeling the site and it may have gone into my joint.

Thank god I have a week in the office to rest it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It didn't bother my shoulder, but it made my teeth super sensitive to hot and cold for about two months. Weirdest thing ever.

information libertarian

Casper got the flu shot this year and it was top of the arm, and her arm was tender for a day but not longer, and she had nothing else. Dillo got the nose mist and had no reaction at all. (Casper asked for the shot - she likes to demonstrate how stoic she is.)

Because this is terribly important info... t /sarcasm

We're going to a Mardi Gras shindig tonight, and I found a black skirt to wear with my flamey corset. Also wearing devil horns, because they go with the flames.

The shindig sounds pretty cool -- sideshow freaks, belly dancers, cabaret -- but mostly it's just an excuse to wear my corset somewhere other than a kink party.

I'm trying to make a salad for lunch. This salad is supposed to have steamed potatoes on top. The potatoes are taking forever to steam. I just gave up and put them right into the water, and it's still taking a while.

And eesh, I'm so sorry to hear that you've got CSF too! It's really no fun, is it? Which med(s) are you on? I just finished my fourth round of antibiotics and am really hoping against hope that I won't have to do another one.

Kate, I'm on Cipro 3x a week for ... well, a month to begin with. And a huge amount of vitamins and probiotics. So, I've got Epstein-Barr, Lyme's, AND cat-scratch fever. Do I get laundanum for any of them? No I do not, and I am just a touch bitter about it.
