Oooh! We could do a sleepover.
Why yes we can. I like the way you think. We'll compare calendars....
River ,'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, I know where the show is, never fear. I could stay the weekend; I have friends in the area. Wouldn't really want to turn around and drive all the way home after the show, anyway.
Ha. OK, let me figure out if I'm actually going to go. Profile addy is good if we need to discuss further.
amyth, your brother's sense of responsibility towards his family sounds a lot like my landlord's sense of responsibility towards his tenants. I'm so sorry you have to deal with his bullshit on top of everything else!
In other news, my arm is hurting again, like it did with the earlier bout of cat-scratch fever. Jesus H., I don't want to go through this whole damn thing all over again.
Dancre Stoker's "sequel" to Dracula NO NO NO. Could not stand that book.
Jilli, if the audiobook was not read by Simon Prebble, I would have abandoned it in the first couple of chapters.
The conceit Stoker chose to extend the story is incredibly lazy. Seriously. 'Overused' doesn't even cover it.
Prebble makes it fun and atmospheric, though.
I'm grateful for excellent readers. Honestly, were it not for Jim Dale, I'm not sure I would have made it through the Chamber of Secrets.
sj, you have the patience of a saint.
Ha! So very much not. If my mother heard someone say that she would never stop laughing.
Kate, I hope you don't have to go through all of that again. Good grief!
Prebble makes it fun and atmospheric, though.
That is so weird to read, because that's my last name! But with one b. Plus, everyone around here calls me by my last name.
I MAKE IT FUN AND ATMOSPHERIC.
You do!
I do try.
ION, Christian Kane is playing a free show 2/19 ten minutes away from my parents' house, and I'm thinking about going. Don't know if I want to go by myself though.
Oooh. I might be interested, too.
A student emailed me, about two hours before the homework is due, to ask if he could hand it in next week, because he's been busy with other classes this week and he didn't realize that the calculus homework was so long and he doesn't think he'll finish it on time. That would be a no.
