Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

sj, fibromyalgia is one of my gifts with purchase*. If you want any info, just let me know! I'm on a good med for it.

*A phrase Topic!Cindy once used about me and I liked it so now it is mine.

I must go back to the doctor soon about my joint pain. I'm always complaining about it and rarely do anything for it except take ibuprofen.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Seska, I have fibromyalgia as well, but currently have no doctor. Could I get more info from you?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Seska, info would be welcome.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats, Kate!

It's my go-to answer for nearly everything, but still, wheat gluten can cause joint pain in people who are sensitive to it. Have you ever tried eliminating wheat for a while?

I totally haven't, but now I totally will. No one had suggested that to me before. That said, now that I'm thinking about it, I don't actually eat much wheat. I'm definitely not a bread eater. Will be easier to cut out that way though.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jars, I'm sorry to hear about G's grandfather being moved to hospice. May there be as much peace as possible during this difficult time.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I love the internet. I wanted to go to a disability studies conference that's going on this week, but I couldn't afford it. But they're streaming the keynote sessions! Managing to hear my hero Liz Crow speaking on her research and other work on Aktion T4.

Jars, I second the wheat-elimination suggestion. I feel much better without it. I'm just not always good at sticking to a wheat-free diet. (I did just bake some lovely gluten-free bread. Which helps with that!)

quester and sj, insent.

There is a repeating bleep from my computer that I can't identify. Been going on for a week. Very odd.
