And remember, if you hurt her, I will beat you to death with a shovel.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just hated doing homework. Didn't really matter what subject it was.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I ALWAYS hear "Gangster's Paradise" as "Amish Paradise."

And it sets me to giggling.

I just watched Mississippi Masala. How have I not seen this movie before? It's fabulous.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Kara is Jilli, sj, and Hil! She hates all homework, but especially copying things and math.

Kara is the younger version of me

This comforts me all the time. I would be honored to have a daughter who grew up to be Jilli. She loves Jilli pictures. I thought wwjpd (what would Jilli's parents do), and got her a sewing machine for Christmas so she could learn to sew for herself and her dolls.

Erin, Greg suggests Black Panther:

Black Panther has royal parentage, was selected by the Panther God; married to Storm, who was then also selected by the Panther God.

He's a comic/superhero geek too, and would be glad to try to think of others if you would like him to.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have been convinced since I first met Kara in person that she is going to be quite an amazing adult some day, but then look at her awesome parents.

Oh, did you finally get your wedding present?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I was going to address the serial comma but then others gave the opinion I would have voiced so I said nothing.

I was raised without serial commas so when I'm typing I tend to avoid them but I have to admit they seem to enhance comprehension.

This is me. I learned my commas back in the '60s and '70s, was the fashion different then? And I learned to spell judgement with the e in the middle. Perhaps the Pennsylvania School System had Loyalist leanings.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

God, maths homework was my favourite. What's with you people?

Maybe maths homework is more fun? Math sucks.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Erin, what about The Tick? Both he and Beowulf are a bit ham-handed with their heroing ways.
