Apologies all, I'm skipping and skimming to come in with a first world whine:
After a very nice run of reviews and rating, all of a sudden in the last few days, STARS has been hit with several 2-star ratings & some absolutely scathing reviews (including the one that said I clearly hadn't grasped the concept of showing versus telling-- ouch).
Normally, I can let this stuff roll off my back, but the doubt bunnies have decided this was a good week to take up residence, especially since the new proposal is going to be going out next week.
I suppose I just need to vent, but man, I just need to shake this and don't know how, exactly.
(Although I did turn off the Google alerts-- don't need them anymore.)

God, maths homework was my favourite.
I like math. Even still. Though helping the Nephlet through his over the phone is both a challenge for math skills I haven't had a reason to explain for decades and for the fact that he's occasionally trying to be Jilli and just not do his homework. Grrr. But I still like math.
I'm not sure Coolio was all that heroic. Though Gangsta's Paradise does have superhuman powers of earworm.
