It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Ugh, Nora. Good luck, that's totally stressful.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Can't help with the fashion tips. Or the cat urine. Or the tenants. Sorry.

Good luck with the new job, Vortex.

Librarian Warlord

Ugh, Nora.

Good luck, Vortex! What is the new job? Goodness, I wish I could get you in front of our Dean for a job, because she'd love you. I even have one in mind if the total screw-up who has it now would just . . . leave.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yeah, I just don't know what to do. It's a mess.

I don't know if the property managers are in fact dropping the ball or if my tenants and neighbors are crazy (which I'm quite willing to believe.) I just don't know how to exert any influence on the situation given the craziness of the stakeholders and the very strong tenants laws in MA.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Isn't the point of a property manager that you don't get all those emails and calls? Man.

I wish I had anything constructive to offer.

Good luck, Vortex.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Good luck, Vortex. Sometimes, a different hell can be tolerable for a while just because the worn-out pressure points are getting some relief.

Punishingly Intricate

Can you look into getting a new property manager, Nora? gah, that must be so stressful!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Best of luck to you both, Vortex and Nora.

you know, the roads are really icy tonight. If someone were to have a nasty accident, probably no one would investigate.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Nora. That sucks. Unfortunately, I have no constructive advice, only sympathy.

Go, Vortex!! Good luck at the new job!

Steph, I can't access the pic of your corset at work, but I really like that skirt. For me, my only concern would be the length of the skirt. It would go to my ankles and I'm not sure how flattering that would be on me, but you are taller than me.
