Woo I have Dayquil. Maybe I can get out of bed when this kicks in. I think it's Anne Lamott who says to imagine the negative thoughts as little squeaky mice, pick each one up by the tail and put it in a jar. Then put the lid on the jar. But I think both MC Hammer and Sweepy Man seem much more effective.

Whoa. I felt like I had enough energy to wash some dishes and I went in the kitchen and D is cleaning it from top to bottom. I tried to make some tea and he wouldn't even let me do that. Being sick ain't so bad.

I've got two students who failed Calculus 1 last semester, but need to complete Calculus 2 by the end of this semester to stay on track for their majors, so they're retaking Calculus 1 this semester but also taking Calculus 2. I really cannot see this working.
