No, no, no, sir. No more chick pit for you. Come on.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

OMG, love! Huge congrats!

Seska, I'm so pleased to hear that the Girl's family have ceased their ridiculosity (at least a bit)! Also hoping that all your support worker bureaucratic wrangling works out!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Meanwhile, The Girl's family has agreed to allow us to have our wedding in May, and tentatively agreed to come. This may be the day that 2011 gets better than 2010!

Yay!!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I forget who was looking for a referral to counseling in TN but a friend of my Mom's found

Thanks, Laga - that was me. You know, I figured there was only a slim chance that the hivemind could produce practical results on that question. But it really does know everything.

Bureaucracy~ma, Seska! And your good news is making me bouncy with joy.

Did we know about Dateline: Kennel [link] ? A series of photos of dogs used as filler for newspapers in times gone by, and some modern sarcastic commentary to go along with it?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

And your good news is making me bouncy with joy.

Me too! Well, actually, I'm bouncy with lack-of-sleep-causing-over-excitement, I think. But also very much for the good news.

The status is NOT quo.

Seska, what wonderful news! Fingers crossed that everything turns out perfectly.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Seska, continuing ~ma that the gov't agency is reasonable and major yays for family breathrough! Yay!

IOmeN, I ran out of gas on the way to work. You would think that by the time one reaches my moderately advanced age, one would know better. Obviously not. And my lungs are not thanking me in this weather. ::hack:: Thankfully, I was able to call on the help of a couple of samaritans, since I died right across the intersection from the gas station. Yay, kind people!
