There isn't much I hate worse than that woozy feeling.
It wasn't the dizzy as much as the cold sweats. Dizzy I can chalk up to "stuffy head, inner ear being weird" or something like that.
But the cold sweats? Shit, man, as soon as those started -- in conjunction with the dizziness -- I knew I wasn't going to remain vertical. I hate it when my body disobeys my brain!

Erin, I'd say the original estimate was a slam dunk, but this still sounds very much in the good idea category. In addition to your utility costs, I'd guess this would be a big factor if you decide to sell down the road.
Eesh, Steph. Not a nutritionist, but there's not much protein in what you described, and especially if you work out you need protein. But it sounds like you realize that.
quester, was it a slice or a puncture wound? If the former, you're probably okay to skip the booster. Tetanus tends to happen in deep puncture wounds that don't bleed much.

I know. t /shame I just hadn't been to the gym in over 6 weeks thanks to the 18th-century lung disease, and I really got out of the habit of fueling up properly. Plus, I think I thought that a slow walk (seriously, it was about a 22- to 24-minute mile, and I only walked a half-mile) wouldn't require all that much from me.

Yeah, but they fall off the treadmill a lot.
And occasionally they get their intestines caught up in the exercise bike.
And trying to clean up after them when they're done with the weight machines?
A literal nightmare.
Plus overzealous (non-zombie) gym rats are always shooting them in the head, and that's just loud and annoying when I'm trying to watch cable TV.
