Yeesh, Steph.
Erin, I'd say the original estimate was a slam dunk, but this still sounds very much in the good idea category. In addition to your utility costs, I'd guess this would be a big factor if you decide to sell down the road.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Eesh, Steph. Not a nutritionist, but there's not much protein in what you described, and especially if you work out you need protein. But it sounds like you realize that.
quester, was it a slice or a puncture wound? If the former, you're probably okay to skip the booster. Tetanus tends to happen in deep puncture wounds that don't bleed much.

I know. t /shame I just hadn't been to the gym in over 6 weeks thanks to the 18th-century lung disease, and I really got out of the habit of fueling up properly. Plus, I think I thought that a slow walk (seriously, it was about a 22- to 24-minute mile, and I only walked a half-mile) wouldn't require all that much from me.
Clearly I my brain was addled, no doubt from the lack of protein....

You know what's full of protein? Brains.
You know who never passes out at the gym? Zombies.
Draw your own conclusions.
You know who never passes out at the gym? Zombies.
Yeah, but they fall off the treadmill a lot.
And occasionally they get their intestines caught up in the exercise bike.
And trying to clean up after them when they're done with the weight machines?
A literal nightmare.
Plus overzealous (non-zombie) gym rats are always shooting them in the head, and that's just loud and annoying when I'm trying to watch cable TV.
Since I got the iPod Touch last week and have been wrangling my music onto it, I found that there was a significant number of songs that had been residing ONLY on my work computer, and not my laptop or my ancient iPod Mini. So I've been rediscovering some things I forgot I had, and here are some observations (because I know you all want to hear them):
(1) The "Wonderfalls" theme song is awesomesauce.
(2) I am ashamed at how much I like Jack Black's cover of "Let's Get It On" (from the movie "High Fidelity"). No, seriously.
(3) The "Teen Titans" theme? Pure distilled bouncy goodness, and wow, I need to watch that show again. A lot.
(4) Billie Holiday singing "You'd Be So Easy to Love" (or, really, singing anything) reminded me of David Sedaris's impression of Billie Holiday singing, and if you haven't heard it, GO DO IT NOW. You will laugh until you pee.
(5) I could listen to Darlene Love's "Today I Met the Boy I'm Going to Marry" on an infinite repeating loop. (Make of that what you will. [Shut up.])

Yes.

I'm not even ashamed.
