Wesley: And how does your kind define love? Demon: Same as all bodies. Same as everywheres. Love is sacrifice.

'The Girl in Question'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just saw this gentleman on the Rachel Maddow Show. Adding the the remarkableness imho is the fact that he is in his early 20s, a Junior in college, and ran toward the shooting to help.

In college, when my professor was trying to make a point about how society had changed, he asked people what they would do if they heard someone calling for help. I spoke up and said I would go see if I could help. He said I was an atavism, a throwback. He said most people would ignore it or call the police.

I've always hoped he was wrong. At least in this case he was.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

If someone were just shouting or yelling, no, I probably wouldn't go see what it was at first.

Extended screaming? More likely.

Someone shouting for help? Unless the situation was set up thus that I suspected danger, always.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

- the Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket the funeral of the little girl (for one)

WTH? What can they possibly be protesting that would have them disturb a child's funeral?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

WTH? What can they possibly be protesting that would have them disturb a child's funeral?

Reality.

Reality.

Actually, I find myself protesting that a lot.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jilli, I'm glad to hear your mother is stable. The one time I met her, I thought she was absolutely wonderful, and I continue to send ~ma to her, you and your family.

“Not dead yet!”

WTH? What can they possibly be protesting that would have them disturb a child's funeral?

Honest answer?

Because the girl's family is Catholic.

And because they can.

Phelps and his cronies are sub-human sacks of shit.

Because the girl's family is Catholic.

It's wrong for me to even say what I'm thinking right now.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

WBC isn't known for their compassion or caring. Or, what Barb said.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Because the girl's family is Catholic.

Shouldn't they be too busy celebrating that there's one fewer Catholic in the world?
