Xander: How? What? How? Giles: Three excellent questions.

Xander/Giles ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

The government agency I was talking about before is still asking me to justify myself and my disability. I've now written a five-page letter and four long e-mails, and spent hours and hours on responding to their stupid questions. You have to wonder when this starts to be considered unreasonable. Might be time to talk to the assessor's manager.

IBetterN, Effexor has me really alert. This is amazing, for chronically fatigued little me. I hope it continues.

You have to wonder when this starts to be considered unreasonable

I believe you passed unreasonable five phone calls and hours ago.

ION. Hivemind, do you know any virtual place where I can cut and paste German Gothic letters from? I'm indexing books and want to stick to the original as much as possible.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Still thinking good thoughts towards the Family of Reason.

Ah, Shir. You're in the land of the font geeks.

Free German Gothic font: [link]

Free Fraktur fonts: [link]

Gothic capitals: [link] (This guy at McGill has a great overview and history of fonts.)

Thanks, Ginger. I tried to avoid actual downloading of anything, but it looks too good to ignore.

My thoughts are with the Family of Reason, as well.

I've used a number of fonts I found there, Shir.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sorry, I'm finding places to download a German Gothic font, but not C&P.

I have a hivemind question of my own, and perhaps I should take it to Natter, for wider distribution. I have a friend who is having depression and body image issues, but from a different direction than mine. In the past, she has struggled with an eating disorder. She is not currently starving herself, but is having plenty of the old thoughts and body hatred. She lives in an area of Tennessee where she has not been able to find good mental health services appropriate for her, within a practical driving distance. Since she is struggling to find the help she needs, and I have been able to access what I need, I want to help by finding resources for her. In her area, Johnson City, TN most of the mental health resources are directed at prescription drug dependency. Is there by any chance, anyone here that knows of a therapist or support group within 25 miles of there (It's about an hour and a half's drive east of Knoxville)? Or a really good online support community?
