Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Points to what Barb said, as I can't say better than the writer lady.

Shir-awesome. Seska-kill 'em a lot. Andi-awesome plus welcome back, and Daniel-points for support.

This?

I came across an item today for sale with no explanation: "Electric Thumb Warmer."

I Googled it of course, and the answer was practical, but my first reaction was WTH?

Two years ago when I was decluttering and packing, a pile of things started to slip. I caught the full weight of the pile on my left thumb and sprained/partially dislocated it. Granted, my joints are held together with rubber bands to begin with, but it never healed right and right now I can turn my hand from palm up to palm down and unless I'm careful the thumb will literally *fall* out of joint without applied pressure or stress. My right thumb is undergoing calcification and deformity of the joint from psoriatic arthritis. Heat us soothing, and though it doesn't improve the condition(s), it makes the afflicted part feel better. I would love a thumb-warmer. In fact, I could use two of them.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Someone tripped the wrong fucking snowflake.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I would love a thumb-warmer. In fact, I could use two of them.

Well, these are made for ATVs and snowmobiles, and would take a bit of rigging, but I bet one could come up with a way to tape one to a glove thumb and a battery pack...

Hmm.. Duct tape... old glove...laptop battery pack...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm just a girl with a keyboard and a weird sense of justice. That's all. Apparently that's all you need. Weird, huh?

I kinda want to COMM this, but I am not sure if I should include enough of what Shir has said that it would be obvious what it refers to, or if it is better without identifiers. I mean, what Sail and Trudy said is hilarious without context, but I also think Shir's achievement deserves to be noted. Shir, what would you like me to do?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am watching The Black Parade is dead, and trying to get psyched up to go out. It's only a few blocks from here, and should be fun, and I sort of have an outfit planned, and I've been wanting to go dancing, and friends will be there... but it's so cold, and my couch is comfy, and I'm tired.

I am kinda going stir crazy, while at the same time unable to get out. All week I've been home, and doing not much work, and sick as a dog. Wednesday I managed to do dinner with two friends, but it wasn't nearly as boisterous as usual. And last night I was so looking forward to doing dancing, which since I've been gone, I hadn't done in weeks--only to have a headache all day that I finally succumbed to at 6:30PM. Went to bed, woke up early this morning still headachey, took more meds, and woke up again at...12:45PM. Holy crap, 18 hours of sleep. I WANT to go hang out with people and have fun, but...apparently am not capable.

But by god, tonight I am going out to see a show. (Yay for seated things?)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The Barrelhousers are practicing in my living room, playing "Start Wearing Purple" by Gogol Bordello and it fucking rocks! So weird to hear fantastic music coming from just the other room.

going-out~ma for meara and smonster.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Good song, that.

Heh, thanks for the ma. Going to eat dinner and see if that helps.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am not up for going out. It's been a pretty crap ass day.
