I am kinda going stir crazy, while at the same time unable to get out. All week I've been home, and doing not much work, and sick as a dog. Wednesday I managed to do dinner with two friends, but it wasn't nearly as boisterous as usual. And last night I was so looking forward to doing dancing, which since I've been gone, I hadn't done in weeks--only to have a headache all day that I finally succumbed to at 6:30PM. Went to bed, woke up early this morning still headachey, took more meds, and woke up again at...12:45PM. Holy crap, 18 hours of sleep. I WANT to go hang out with people and have fun, but...apparently am not capable.
But by god, tonight I am going out to see a show. (Yay for seated things?)
The Barrelhousers are practicing in my living room, playing "Start Wearing Purple" by Gogol Bordello and it fucking rocks! So weird to hear fantastic music coming from just the other room.
going-out~ma for meara and smonster.
Good song, that.
Heh, thanks for the ma. Going to eat dinner and see if that helps.
I am not up for going out. It's been a pretty crap ass day.
{{{Nora}}} Did you go to the funeral?
eta if you don't want to talk about it I'll delete.
Yes, and the reception, and then took little B. off K's hands for a couple hours. Also got another phone call from my ex-condo neighbor and apparently my tenants have been cited by the Board of Health.
Yep, that definitely qualifies as crap ass.
Yup, smonster's right. That's definitely a crap-ass day, Nora. Should I ask how you are feeling, or should I just send cabana boys armed with beer?
Gah, Nora. I'm sorry. I'd share my whiskey sour with you if I could.
Andi, were you the one who recommended the Cat Attract litter? If so, I owe you a MILLION thanks. Jeeves has had no extracurricular piddling incidents since I started using it back in October.
Hanging out with B was fun, he was digging on our Wii. But entertaining a 5 year old was pretty draining today. He also called the Ruffles potato chips I was feeding him "cereal." And beat Tom at bowling!
I'm starting to freak out though, that my property managers are not doing what they need to do. Wah.
